In its 2020 IoT Spotlight Report, Vodafone Business discovered some positive statistics when it comes to how IoT is impacting businesses—and how vital IoT is to the future of most organizations.
These numbers are no surprise to us, given the positive impact we have seen IoT applications and devices have on our clients over the years. But, it’s exciting to see some concrete stats. The report solicited responses from more than 1600 businesses and discovered that:
- 95 percent have seen a return on investment in IoT
- 87 percent feel their core business strategy has changed in a positive way after adopting IoT
- 84 percent said IoT technology helped them maintain business continuity during the pandemic
- Another 84 percent view integration of IoT devices with workers more important due to COVID
